- What types of associations can use RallyCat?
RallyCat welcomes any types of associations, large or small. Whether you are a volunteer driven association or an international one with thousands of members, RallyCat will help you manage the association more effectively and efficiently. - How long will it take to get my website up and running?
Once you've made the decision to use RallyCat for your new website, you are looking at about 1 week or 2 to implement all of the components of the site. This includes design, content insertion, importing members and ecommerce integration. - Can I use my own domain name?
Of course. We will even help you in setting up your domain name to point to your website, that will be residing on the secure RallyCat server. - Are the credit card transactions secure?
RallyCat only uses established payment gateways to process transactions. At no point during the transaction is the credit card number stored on the RallyCat system. - How do I upload my current members?
RallyCat will import all your member data for you. We will also setup an automated email delivery to all of your members, welcoming them to the new website and informing them of their username and password. - Are there any hidden fees?
No. Once you've paid the setup fee, the only other fee you will ever pay is the monthly fee. This fee includes any future upgrades (we upgrade the RallyCat system several times a year) and full support. - Is there a limit to the amount of members or administrators on a RallyCat system?
No. RallyCat has no restrictions on the amount of members or administrators and since our fee system is not based on the amount of members, you will never have to pay more. - Where will my website be physically residing? Is it safe?
Yes. Our servers are located in a secure room, with a state-of-the-art security system installed to protect them. For more information, read our Security and Privacy page. - How many templates do I get to choose from? Can I use my company colours?
RallyCat does not use any templates. We understand that an associations needs a unique presence on the web for it to stand out and so your website site will be custom designed just for you. This service is included in the setup fee. - What is the difference between a owning a system and using a subscription-based hosted system?
The major difference between the two is that with owning a system, the software is yours, and with a subscription system it isn't. The big advantage of a subscription system is that you have the opportunity of using an expensive feature-rich software suite for a much lower entry cost than if you were buying it outright. It makes it possible for a smaller association to streamline their membership management at an affordable price. (needs rewording) - What if I change my mind and eventually decide I want to own & host the website?
RallyCat believe you have the right to change your mind, so we have built the system to be "upgradable" and for a fee, you will be able to walk away with all the designs, content, membership info and the software RallyCat is based on. - Does your solution meet Canadian Privacy legislation and PIPA requirements?
Exware is a Canadian company with servers based on Canadian soil, and designs its systems to conform to Canadian privacy legislation. That means your data is secure from snooping by foreign ISPs who must adhere to their local security laws. Furthermore, Exware recommends Canadian payment gateways for all e-commerce transactions, which means sensitive financial information is similarly protected, and securely stored separately from your system data, keeping your liability to a minimum.
